My name is Chris and this is where I blog about running.
This is where I blog about my training, about my day, about the weird and wonderful thoughts that come to me while pounding the streets.
This is where I blog about running routes, shoes, gadgets and playlists.
And this is where you can follow a familiar pattern of stability, followed by progress, followed by a race or two, followed by prolonged running droughts. The pattern dates back more than ten years now, and I don’t really see it ending any time soon.
As a result of all that, my own personal record books are on the shelf, gathering dust. A 1:34:14 in the Sheffield Half Marathon 1998 seems increasingly untouchable, while my 3:53:52 over 26.2 in London was the less talked-about record set in 2003.
